The triangle shapped building with white curtains, was this a restaurant? will it be one?

I saw people in there working last week, lights were on at night....anyone know what the story is?

thanks, Tim

Someone mentioned that one of the city coucilers owned it....who knows. It's been like that for years. Looks to be the perfect spot for a Starbucks if you as me. We'd love it!

I hear that the place taking Gulu-Gulu's spot, Turbine, will also roast their own coffee, perhaps better than Starbucks roasts theirs! Well, I have nothing against a Starbucks, but I just don't like their coffee as much as I liked Gulu-Gulu's. Seriously. But, lots of places would still beat Dunkin' Donuts. Their coffee is just a medium for cream and sugar and not enjoyable for people who take it black.

As far as the wedge-shaped building goes, I hear the curtains are up so the owners can do renovations. It would be cool to have something in that spot. Maybe it can be a store that only sells triangular things, pie, cake slices, pizza slices..

There's a "for lease" sign on the side facing the Edison. Not sure what that means...

Someone involved in city politics owns this building, is it Phelan? I forget -- anyway, I think that he has his law offices there, on the upper floors.
