I was just looking at the Lynn Auditorium website....and check it out -- Foreigner will be performing in May. Who knew they were still together even, but it is surely going to be a classic 80's experience, I think I have to go!!

I'm conflicted. I never was a fan, but when a band like that plays practically in your backyard, it could be good just for an 'experience.'

But, I hear it's not all of the original members, and the price is very high. I can see paying that for a fundraiser, though.

I really want to support the auditorium, but this is a tough one. I've been waiting for a show that I'd like to see. They are open to suggestions, but that's a big space to fill. Maybe a whole bunch of bands that wouldn't fill the space on their own, but as part of a music festival of sorts, would work. I think that would be better than gaining a reputation for a venue that hosts faux versions of bands or washed-up bands.

It would also be cool to host an active theatre group or local orchestra in there. I know the pops played there. I know the Irish Tenors are sort of a big deal. I'd see the pops if they came by again, but stuff like the Tenors and Choirs they have aren't my thing.
